Tryout sessions will take place at the Eagle Seeker Community Center (formerly known as the Shrine Auditorium). Come to as many sessions as possible. This allows us to have more opportunities to see the kids in order to make the best decision we can!
All age groups (both traveling and traditional teams) will begin tryouts with a short meeting to kick off tryouts on the first day. This will give clarity to the teams, tryouts procedures, etc. We ask that at least one adult join your child for this meeting.
All athletes will be evaluated using the following criteria:
- Best Volleyball Player
- Best Potential Volleyball Player
- Player that fits best into our Program.
Tryouts will be a combination of skill specific drills and competition/game-play. This gives coaches the best perspective of athletes abilities and attitudes.
Due to the investment that is made to be on a club team, we are intentional about the number of girls that we keep in order to maintain a productive practice and allow for each athlete to receive quality reps at both practice and competitions. There is the potential for the need to make cuts at all levels.
At the U-12 Level:
U-12 Athletes must be born on or after July 1, 2013.
At this level, athletes will be exposed to the fundamentals of each of the key skills:

Selection Process:
On the final tryout session, all athletes will receive letters from the coaches. These letters will explain if they have made a team and, if so, which team they have made.
